Esta inspiración me vino cuando viajaba en coche por Alemania y miraba el cielo a través del techo panorámico del coche. No conducía yo, claro. Acababa de llover.

I got the inspiration to paint this picture while traveling in Germany and looking through the panoramic roof of the car. I wasn´t driving, of course. It had just stopped raining.

Las flores representan Hibiscus en primer plano y Bouganvilla en el fondo. El verano del 2015 fue muy caluroso y largo, pero teníamos las flores para deleitarnos.

The flowers in the front are Hibiscus and the ones behind Bouganvilla. It was the summer of 2015, a very long and hot summer, but we had the flowers to enjoy. 

Camino de Montserrat / On Our Way to Montserrat

De camino a Montserrat desde Mataró, en marzo del 2015. Esa noche llovió toda la noche, toda.

We were on our way to Montserrat mountain parting from Mataró. That night it rained the whole night through... and I mean the whole night.

Well, that was last year, I decided to go hiking from the place I live to the Monsterrat mountain, which is sacred and has a saw-like top. The distance is about 65 km, more or less. You shouldn't do that unless you have trained your body to walk long distances. So I trained with a bunch of people, as crazy as I am, hiking across the mountains every Sunday before the birds rose. On this particular day we started in the evening and walked all night. It wouldn't be too bad if it hadn't been for the rain. We reached Montserrat completely drenched and cold. Not an experience I would like to repeat.

I got inspired by springtime and thought I wanted a picture of something that would make my day every morning, so I painted the coast as I love to imagine it, cristal clear water inviting you to swim and dive, the day not too hot, not too cold, blue sky but not boringly so... and jump from a rock! Childhood memories moreover...

Me inspiró la primavera y pensé que quería un cuadro que tuviera algo que me animara cada día, así que pinté la costa como me gusta imaginarmela, con agua cristalina invitándote a nadar y bucear, el dia ni demasiado cálido ni demasiado fresco, un cielo azul pero no aburridamente azul... :-)  y ¡salta desde una roca! Recuerdos de infancia además...

Tiny Dot on Kid's bags/ Tiny Dot en bolsos para niños y niñas

Como se puede ver, se trata de dibujos sencillos con rotulador acrílico (¡cosa nueva!) en dos colores, negro y rojo o negro y verde, sobre polipiel blanca. Los bolsitos tienen además cierre de cremallera.
La idea es de una amiga mia que tenía restos de polipiel y decidimos juntar nuestra creatividad.

As you can see, Tiny Dot is a simple drawing  with an acrilic kind of marker (new stuff!) in two colours, either black and red or black and green on white imitation leather, The little bags also come with a zipper. The idea is from a friend of mine who had some imitation leather leftovers, so we decided to join our creativity.
